The entire expansion, covering all 24 Mydin Hypermarkets, is expected to be completed by March 2024, according to Caricarz.

Datuk Wira (Dr) Hj Ameer Ali Mydin expressed his enthusiasm for this partnership with ChargeSini, emphasising its significance as a sustainability alliance.

He sees this collaboration as a strategic move for Mydin Hypermarket to become a retail establishment well-prepared for the future and more convenient for its customers.

Additionally, he highlighted the importance of embracing a greener and more sustainable path, especially in light of the world’s pressing challenges, such as climate change and the rising cost of gasoline.

Mr. Eric Lim, Sales Director of ChargeSini, disclosed the company’s ambitious plan to construct between 500 and 1,000 EV charging stations in Malaysia within the current year.

To date, ChargeSini has successfully installed 320 EVCBs (EV Charging Bays) at over 100 locations. The company’s primary focus will be on establishing EV charging stations in tourist attractions, hotels, restaurants, malls, and condominiums.
