The Xiaomi 13T Series Brings Flagship-Level Cameras To A Mid-Range That Starts At RM1,799

Xiaomi just announced the launch of its 13T Pro and 13T phones globally, and they’re also available on our shores.

For the 13T Pro, it’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chip paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to UFS 4.0 1TB of internal storage.

Meanwhile, the 13T is packing the Dimensity 8200-Ultra chip paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 256GB of internal storage.

Both devices have a 6.67″ OLED Full HD+ display with a refresh rate of 144Hz, a brightness of up to 2,600 nits, and support for Dolby Vision.

As for the cameras, both devices have the same setup. At the back, there is a triple-camera setup consisting of a 50MP sensor with a 1/1.28-inch size and individual pixels measuring 1.22 μm. It’s equipped with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and features an f/1.9 aperture.

The telephoto camera shares the same 50MP sensor resolution and f/1.9 aperture but sports a 50mm equivalent lens. The third camera is a 12MP ultrawide shooter with an f/2.2 lens equivalent to 15mm.

You have the option to choose between the Leica Authentic Look, which focuses on achieving true-to-life colour reproduction, and the Leica Vibrant Look, which adds some extra vibrancy to your photos. The battery is rated at 5,000mAh and supports fast charging at 120W for 13T Pro and 67W for 13T.

The Xiaomi 13T Pro and 13T have IP68 protection and both phones come equipped with dual speakers and offer support for Dolby Atmos Audio. They run on the Android 13 operating system with the MIUI 14 on top.

Both phone are also getting four OS updates and five years of security patches as promised by Daniel Desjarlais, Xiaomi’s Communications and PR Director.

The Xiaomi 13T Pro and 13T are available in three colour options: Black, Green, and Blue.

The Xiaomi 13T series is open for pre-orders in Malaysia, starting today. You can place your pre-orders through Xiaomi authorised stores, their official online platforms on Lazada and Shopee, as well as through official retailers across the nation.
