As the reigning champion in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots, ChatGPT has unfortunately been the target of numerous fraudulent mobile apps. These deceptive apps falsely claim to be associated with ChatGPT. However, it should be noted that OpenAI had not authorised or released any official app. But that is about to change.

Yesterday, OpenAI, the creator of the immensely popular AI chatbot, announced that the ChatGPT app is officially available for iPhone users.

OpenAI said that their official app is available at no cost, without any advertisements, and enables the synchronization of your browsing history across multiple devices. Additionally, the app provides you with the latest enhancements to the model.

Currently, OpenAI has mentioned that the app will initially be limited to the United States; however, they have plans to extend its availability to other countries in the upcoming weeks. Furthermore, Android users can anticipate the release of the app specifically designed for their platform, as OpenAI has confirmed that it will be made available soon.
