If you are familiar with the Battlefield series, you know it is only available on PC and consoles. But Electronic Arts (EA) is bringing this franchise to the mobile with the help of Industrial Toys, a studio under EA.

This game has finally landed in Malaysia after having an early play test in Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia in September last year. The game is now in open beta, besides Malaysia, players from Singapore also have access to it now.

This is a free-to-play game but it is only available for Android users for now, with no mention of iOS availability. The developer said, “any items available for purchase are cosmetic only and do not impact or affect gameplay or player performance”.

Since this is an open beta, you don’t get to keep your progress. They said there will be several progress resets so that all players will have a level playing field. But, if you bought any Battlefield Coin, you get to keep those.
