ASUS just announced the new Zenbook S 13 OLED (UX5304), and they claimed it’s the world’s slimmest OLED ultralight laptop with a super-slim 1 cm profile and a super-light 1 kg chassis.
It’s also the most eco-friendly Zenbook ever, using recycled metals and plastics in its construction, FSC Mix-certified packaging, a new eco-friendly plasma ceramic aluminium for the Basalt Gray model, and halogen-free electronics.
The laptop is packing up to Intel 13th Gen Core i7-1355U with integrated Iris Xe graphics and it support up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, as well as up to 1TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD storage.
For the display, the Zenbook S 13 OLED has a 16:10 2.8K (2880 x 1800) Asus Lumina OLED display that’s Dolby Vision certified, with Pantone Validated colour rendering and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification.
The laptop also has a Harman Kardon-certified audio system with Dolby Atmos sound. Asus claims the laptop is stringently tested using the latest MIL-STD-810H US military-grade durability standard, with up to 12 test methods and 26 individual tests.
Besides that, despite being such a slim laptop, it has a full compliment of ports: two Thunderbolt 4 connectors, a USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI 2.1 video out and a 3.5mm audio jack. For wireless connectivity, there’s Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2. There’s also a FHD webcam with IR that supports fast and secure face login with Windows Hello and a 63Wh battery.

The Zenbook S 13 OLED are available in two colours: Basalt Gray or Ponder Blue. Asus said these two models will be available in Malaysia by mid-May 2023.
