Xiaomi has officially announced that it intends to launch its flagship Xiaomi 14 series smartphones internationally later this month, after first launching in China in late October 2023.
The global debut of the Xiaomi 14 series is scheduled for Sunday, 25 February 2024, and based on the teasers, the highly anticipated Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to make its first appearance.
The landing page on Xiaomi’s official website is hinting at “a new generation of Leica optics, reaching new heights,” likely alluding to the speculated wider variable aperture on the main camera of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
GSMArena reports that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to feature four 50MP cameras, including a Sony LYT-900 main sensor equipped with a faster f/1.6-f/4.0 variable aperture, surpassing the outgoing Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s f/1.9 – f/4.0 aperture range. Additionally, the event might also see the debut of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Android tablet.
