In a collaborative effort to enable more students nationwide to benefit from digital learning, Maxis’ flagship community programme, eKelas, is now available on the Ministry of Education (MoE)’s DELIMa portal.

DELIMa, or Digital Educational Learning Initiative Malaysia, is MoE’s online platform focused on digital teaching and learning for teachers, students, and guardians in the Malaysian public school system.

“We welcome Maxis eKelas as our new Rakan DELIMa partner and look forward to exploring greater collaboration with Maxis. This aligns well with the new national Digital Education Policy (DEP), where we involve strategic partners as a catalyst for digital education who share the same vision – to nurture digitally fluent students,” said Tuan Zainal Abas, Director of the Educational Resources and Technology Division, MoE Malaysia.

“The single sign-on through DELIMa enables us to bring eKelas closer to the community and connect with even more students nationwide. Our continuous commitment is to empower more students to benefit from the advantages of digital learning, and we are excited to have eKelas incorporated in their education journey,” said Mariam Bevi Batcha, Maxis Chief Corporate Affairs Officer.

With the integration, Malaysian students from primary to secondary schools, teachers, and education leaders can sign into eKelas with their DELIMa ID, and readily access eKelas’ extensive breadth of free learning content including online workshops, exam clinics and webinars.

Students will also have the opportunity to join eKelas’ nationwide competitions on English storytelling and STEM to obtain Pentaksiran Aktiviti Jasmani Sukan Dan Kokurikulum (PAJSK) points, and the chance to apply for Anugerah Gemilang eKelas student grants.

With over 95,000 registered users and growing, Maxis eKelas is an after-school digital learning initiative for students from Year 4 to Form 5. Offering a dynamic and vibrant content approach, it provides access to quality education content aligned with the Malaysian school syllabus, focusing on Science, Mathematics, English, Bahasa Melayu and History as well as digital and soft skills topics. Maxis eKelas students are exposed to experiential learning through a combination of live tutorials, group learning, competitions, and digital content via the eKelas portal and app.
