The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will be unveiled at Google’s Pixel Fall Launch event 1:00AM on October 20, Malaysian time.
Prior to the event, Google has released some information regarding their flagship phones such as the new design, the new user interface — called Material You — and their Tensor chip.
New Design
The new design features an all new camera bar that goes across the back of the phone and new colours.
The Pixel 6 has a 6.4-inch display, while the 6 Pro has a 6.7-inch display, both larger than last year’s Pixel 5 series which had a 6-in screen.
New UI: Material You
Google is set to feature the Android 12 based Material You UI at the launch event too. It is grounded in the new animation and design framework that makes the Pixel feel more natural.
The Tensor Chip
Google will also launch the Tensor Chip at this event. The tech giant claimed that their new chip has the most layers of hardware security in any phone.
The new chip is said to feature machine learning capabilities that is designed to run Google’s computational photography models.
In plain English, Google is saying that the the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro will take better photos and have better photo processing and life improvement features.
