Oppo’s latest smartphone, the Reno8 T Series, will be officially available for purchase this Saturday, 11 February 2023 nationwide. In celebration of this, Oppo is throwing a special First Sale event together with Malaysian shuttler and Oppo’s Chief Motivation Officer, Lee Zii Jia, at OPPO Brand Store, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. Selected Reno8 T 5G customers will stand a chance to join an exclusive meet and greet session with him, too.
Launched just this week, the Reno8 T 5G is Oppo’s next generation of Reno, and the company first smartphone to feature a 108MP Portrait Camera in its price range. The Reno8 T 5G is packing a Snapdragon 695 chip, while the 4G version is using MediaTek Helio G99 chip.
The Reno8 T 5G is equipped with 8GB RAM and 256GB of storage and supports up to 1TB SD card expansion. While the 4G version has 8GB RAM plus 256GB storage.
The Reno8 T 5G has a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display, while the 4G version has a smaller 6.4-inch FHD+ 90Hz AMOLED display.
The Reno8 T 5G has a 4,800mAh battery that support 67W SUPERVOOC fast-charging and the 4G version has a bigger 5,000mAh battery and 33W SUPERVOOC fast-charging.
The Reno8 T 5G implements OPPO’s first 108MP Portrait Camera, also features a 40x Microlens and a 2MP Depth Camera together with a 32MP Selfie Camera.
On the 4G variant is a 100MP Portrait Camera, which is featured alongside a 32MP Selfie Camera and a 2MP Microlens with 20x or 40x magnification.
Pricing and Availability
The Reno8 T 5G is priced at RM1,799 and it comes in 2 colours – Sunrise Gold and Midnight Black.
The Reno8 T 4G can be had for RM1,399 in Midnight Black and Sunset Orange.
Customers who purchase the OPPO Reno8 T 5G from 11 February to 12 March 2023 will receive gifts worth up to RM377 in the form of a pair of Enco Buds2, 1-year extended warranty, and 1-year screen damage warranty.
However, the first 15 customers who purchase the Reno8 T 5G at selected OPPO Brand Stores during First Sale day will receive a gift upgrade – from Enco Buds2 to the new Enco Air3. The subsequent 15 customers will have the option to upgrade to the Enco Air3 for just RM90.
