Ansat Broadcast Sdn Bhd and the Indonesian multinational conglomerate MNC Group have collaboratively launched OK Vision, a television and content distribution service catering to subscribers in Malaysia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
NST<\/a> reports that OK Vision<\/a> provides a range of content across its lineup of at least 35 channels through Direct-to-Home (DTH) services. This allows Malaysian viewers to access the content via PT MNC Digital Entertainment using OK1000 devices connected to KU-Band Satellite antennas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Tan Sri Datuk Seri Vincent Tan Chee Yioun, a major shareholder of U Telemedia and co-owner of Ansat Broadcast, expresses confidence in the potential and prospects of OK Vision through this collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He believes that the service, offering a diverse and superior content selection, is well-positioned to capture a share in the local digital media and entertainment market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n MNC Group’s executive chairman, Hary Tanoesoedibjo, emphasises the commitment to elevate content distribution, acknowledging Ansat Broadcast’s expertise and innovation as valuable assets aligning seamlessly with their vision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The goal is to redefine the entertainment landscape, providing unparalleled experiences to audiences in Malaysia and Indonesia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The launch event was attended by Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil and Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) chairman Tan Sri Mohamad Salim Fateh. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Fahmi highlights the integral role of digital media platforms in Malaysia’s economy, contributing to revenue generation, employment, innovation, and global competitiveness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He anticipates further growth in the economic impact of digital media, shaping Malaysia’s position in the global digital economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fahmi notes the increasing popularity of digital streaming services and expects significant local and international investments in technology and infrastructure within the Malaysian market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
