Starlink has been given the green light to operate their internet services here in Malaysia which will benefit those living in rural areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Communications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil said in a tweet that 97% of the populated areas in the country have access to the internet and the government will be working with companies like Starlink to provide access to the remaining 3%. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, the Government is ready to work with satellite internet service providers including Starlink to achieve 100% internet access in populated areas.<\/p>\nCommunications and Digital Minister Fahmi Fadzil<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

He said in the same tweet that Starlink’s services will first be utilised in IPT and school areas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
