Swedish furniture giant IKEA is making its first foray into the gaming market with their partnership with the Republic of Gamers (ROG).

Most well known for their gaming chairs, ROG is ASUS’ gaming division and often considered to have a relatively premium price point. The collaboration could potentially mean a much more affordable range of ROG gaming accessories for gamers all over the world.

The collaboration aims to develop a new range of affordable gaming furniture and accessories to cater to the 2.5 billion gamers in the world. The range will consist of around 30 products that will improve the gaming experience at home, such as chairs, desks, storage, chair mat, mousepads, cable management, lights, desk dividers, and more.

Sadly, this collaboration is still in the works and will be available in China first in February 2021 before being released to other parts of the world in October 2021.
