To combat food wastage, a team based in Klang; Qandeez Unlimited, created the OhFreeFood app to act as a platform to share food.

Get it at the Apple iStore or Google Playstore

So don’t worry if you have extra food from the bazaar, or even part of a Raya hamper that you want to share with others.

With the OhFreeFood app, it’s as easy as 5 steps:

  1. Take a picture.
  2. Describe the food.
  3. Choose method of sharing; Meet up or self-pickup.
  4. Wait for a response.
  5. Share!

Your food items can be categorized as Excess food (which are leftovers of your meal), Extra Untouched Food (food that has been bought as extra) or simply brand new packed food.

You can also choose to be on the receiving end.

And there’s no better time to start sharing than this Ramadhan month.
