Acerpure Inc. today announced the Acerpure Pro Vero Air Purifier, the first of its kind to incorporate post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials in the chassis. Acerpure Inc. focuses on developing lifestyle and consumer products that utilize smart features to enhance quality of life while benefiting users’ environmental surroundings.

The Acerpure Pro Vero air purifier’s whole chassis is made with 35% PCR materials, which Acer claims help decrease 20% CO2 emissions during its production compared to using virgin plastic. It also uses water-based ink and recyclable packaging to further minimise its carbon footprint.

The air purifier comes with a PM2.5 air quality sensor that can detect suspended particles inside and can switch to the correct operating mode instantly. Additionally, the device provides information about the current air quality via three different light indicators (green/yellow/red). The “Green Mode” is also available, which can self-adjust the purification power efficiently based on the surrounding conditions.

The device utilises a DC motor, which consumes less energy while delivering high performance even in “Quiet Mode.” This mode operates without any lighting and with reduced noise, creating a better sleeping environment while improving air quality.

The Acerpure Pro Vero features a highly developed 3-in-1 + HEPA Filter that can separate bacteria and 99.9% of suspended PM2.5 particles present in the air. It also provides efficient filtration of hazardous gases and allergens using its 4-layer safeguard system.

Acer claims third-party labs have tested the activated carbon cotton filter, which is enhanced with an anti-formaldehyde coating, to eliminate 99% of formaldehyde and other harmful compounds in the vicinity, maintaining a constant supply of fresh and clean air in households and indoor spaces.

Pricing and Availability

Acer has not disclosed the pricing and availability of this air purifier in the local market. But it will be available in Taiwan starting in May and in other select markets in the Pan Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions.
