Nothing Ear (2) Is Finally Revealed And You Can Get It Now For RM599

After some big leaks last week, Nothing finally introduced the follow-up to its flagship true wireless stereo (TWS) Nothing Ear (1). The Nothing Ear (2) design is 99% identical to the previous one, but with some incremental improvements.

The Nothing Ear (2) come with Bluetooth 5.3, LHDC 5.0 audio codec and it’s Hi-Res certified. The Ear (2) is also slightly lighter, weighing 4.5 grams per earbud compared to Ear (1) earbud which weighs 4.7 grams. 

The Ear (2) also feature adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC) that can block out unwanted sounds based on your individual ear profile and surroundings. The 11.6mm drivers have been upgraded with a new diaphragm unit made of graphene and polyurethane materials.

Additionally, the voice pickup has been redesigned to improve wind-proofing, making it more effective at isolating your voice in noisy environments. Dual pairing is also available on Ear (2).

When fully charged, Nothing claims the battery life of Ear (2) is up to 36 hours, including the charging case. The charging case can be recharged using USB-C or wirelessly at 2.5W speeds.

These new earbuds support Google Fast Pair for Android devices and Microsoft Swift Pair for Windows users. The Ear (2) case has an IP55 rating against dust and water splashes, while the earbuds themselves have an IP54 rating.

These earbuds also come equipped with a unique sound profile that can be personalized to your hearing by taking a brief test on the Nothing X companion app. The equalizer settings can be further customized to your preferences from within the app.

Pricing and Availability

The Nothing Ear (2) is priced at RM599. For comparison, the Ear (1) was priced at RM499 at launch.
