ASUS Launches New Laptops, Router, Mini PCs For Professionals And Students

All these devices were built with sustainability and durability in mind.

At CES 2023, ASUS unveils four new commercial solutions —ASUS ExpertBook B9 OLED (B9403CVA), ASUS ExpertCenter PN64-E1, ASUS ExpertCenter PN42, and ASUS ExpertWiFi EBM68 for elite business executives; and the ASUS BR1102 series (BR1102C and BR1102F) for primary and secondary school students. They also launched two new Chrome devices for students and white collar workers.

ASUS ExpertBook B9 OLED (B9403CVA)

The ExpertBook B9 OLED delivers premium quality and design while remaining one of the lightest 14-inch business laptops in the world—lighter even than many 13-inch laptops on the market according to Asus. It’s made out of premium magnesium-lithium alloy, Asus claims is the lightest metal alloy in the world.

The laptop is packing the latest 13th Generation Intel Core vPro processor and up to 64 GB of memory, plus a smart-cooling system to increase performance by 36%. It’s running the Windows 11 Pro with multiple layers of security including optional TPM 2.0 to keep data secure and protect privacy.

It has an OLED display with 16:10 aspect ratio, 2,880 x 1,800 resolution and 90% screen-to-body ratio. The ExpertBook B9 is US MIL-STD-810H and ASUS durability tested and there’s a touchpad that’s 26.8% bigger than before —enhancing both navigation and control.

There’s a full range of I/O ports including Thunderbolt 4 USB-C, USB 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI, combo audio jack, and LAN.

ASUS ExpertWiFi EBM68

This a high-speed, high-security, tri-band WiFi 6 router for small-and medium-sized business networks.

The ultrafast WiFi 6 tri-band technology boosts speeds up to 7,800 Mbps, with 160 MHz channels in the5 GHz band for better efficiency and throughput. It’s also highly flexible and secure, enabling up to five distinct SSIDs to separate and prioritize devices for different business scenarios thanks to its Self-Defined Network software feature.

The guest portals are also customizable, enabling businesses to apply their own branding and templates.

The router supports up to 12 mesh node connections for growing business networks —and it also comes with ASUS AiMesh features built in for easy roll-out. Enterprise-grade network security is also on offer, with a free subscription to ASUS AiProtection Pro for a safer, more secure business WiFi environment.

It also empowers easy management, with the all-in-one ASUS Router app providing simple setup and hassle-free management of the network.

ASUS ExpertCenter PN64-E1 and ExpertCenter PN42

The PN64-E1 is powered by the latest Intel Core mobile processor, dual-channel DDR5 memory, ultrafast WiFi 6E, and a PCIe 4.0×4 SSD. In addition to its seven USB ports, the PN64-E1 can also be specified with up to three storage drives and supports up to four 4K displays for multitasking. All these are packed into a small sub-1-litre chassis.

The chassis of PN42 features slats on all sides for efficient heat dissipation, enabling this fanless PC to run almost silently. The PN42 is powered by the latest Intel N-series processor, giving it the power to handle daily applications with ease, and features up to seven USB ports, allowing multiple devices and peripherals to be connected.

ASUS BR1102 series (BR1102C and BR1102F)

The ASUS BR1102 series is available in both traditional clamshell and 360° convertible forms. Its compact 11.6-inch rugged design fits in any backpack and can withstand drops, bumps and everyday wear and tear.

Passing military-grade testing for durability, BR1102 features a spill-resistant keyboard, tamper-and scratch-resistant exterior, reinforced components, a wraparound rubber bumper and an easy grip.

The laptops are packing a 12th Generation Intel Core processor and running Windows 11 Education. Asus claims the laptops have up to 10 hours of battery life, high-speed connectivity, noise-reducing camera, webcam shield, and a 13MP webcam.

BR1102 is also built to last with a low-maintenance, sustainable design, minimizing troubleshooting and administration for IT teams. Uniform screws mean reduced part loss and the modular design makes it flexible in various learning environments.

There’s an expandable dual storage for large learning files, TÜV-certified display, and the keyboard features ASUS Antimicrobial Guard, which is verified by ISO standard to inhibit the growth of bacteria by over 99% over a 24-hour period, helping to keep laptop surfaces clean and sanitary.

ASUS Chromebook Vibe CX34 Flip(CX3401FBA)

This Google-centric device features a 16:10, 144 Hz WUXGA display with an 83% screen-to-body ratio and full 360° ErgoLift hinge, an anti-ghosting keyboard with four-zone RGB lighting12, and ultrafast WiFi 6E technology.

It also has a durable chassis and a distinctive Pearl White finish that includes exclusive orange-accented WASD keycaps for added flair. Integrated Harman Kardon-certified spatial audio adds to the immersive experience, and testing to MIL-STD 810H US military-grade standards ensures durability.

It’s powered by up to a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor and 16GB of memory, capable of delivering performance and responsiveness for cloud gaming,work,and everything in between. ASUS claims the laptop runs for up to 10 hours on a single charge.

ASUS Chromebox 5

It’s powered by a 12th Gen Intel Core processor and includes Intel WiFi 6E AX211 for exceptional wireless performance. It even has a built-in 15W wireless charger, enabling users to easily charge supported devices by simply placing them on the Chromebox 5’s top cover.

The Chromebox 5 gives users the ability to run their favourite Android apps with the power of a mini-PC. It also comes equipped with a Thunderbolt 4 port for speedy data transfers, power delivery, and connections of up to four 4K external displays.

The compact chassis can stand on its side, laid flat, or VESA-mounted on a vertical surface.

At the time of writing, ASUS has yet to release any details regarding local pricing and availability for any of these products.
