Nothing Ear (Stick) Has Landed In Malaysia, Can Be Yours For RM469

It will be sold in limited units starting tomorrow at Crossover, but the Nothing Ear (Stick) be available nationwide on 4 November 2022.

Nothing, a new company founded by the former head of OnePlus, Carl Pei, has released their third product after the Nothing Ear (1) and the Nothing Phone (1).

Today, the company introduced its most advanced audio experience to date, the Nothing Ear (stick). They said the unique, compact cylindrical case was inspired by cosmetic silhouettes. To get the earbuds, you just need to twist the case like a lipstick. At just 4.4g per earbud and they tested the ergonomically shaped earbud on over 100 people to make sure it has a naturally comfortable fit.

The Ear (stick) come with 12.6mm drivers to deliver rich depths, clear highs, and bold details. Due to the design, the Ear (stick) does not have active noise cancellation (ANC), but it does include Clear Voice Technology, which makes use of the three microphones on each earbud to make wind- and crowd-proof calls. The earbuds provide touch controls for voice assistance, volume control, play, pause, and skip.

The earbuds also come with Bass Lock Technology. Nothing said this software will dynamically adjust the bass according to your ear canal shape and surroundings.

They can playback for up to 7 hours (music) and up to 3 hours (calls) on a single charge. The charging case holds another 22 hours of charge and just 10 minutes in the case delivers up to 2 hours extra listening time. The earbuds are IP54 water and dust resistant and they work with Android smartphones that support Fast Pair.

The Ear (stick) features a redesigned antenna that sits further away from the face to minimise signal blockage. When you game on Nothing Phone (1), it automatically switches to low lag mode.

When you pair the earbuds with Nothing Phone (1), you will have access to customisable gesture controls, EQ settings adjustments and a Find My Earbuds function. For all other Android and iOS devices, all features are available in the new Nothing X app. The earbuds use Bluetooth 5.2 and support AAC and SBC Bluetooth audio codec.

Pricing and Availability

The Nothing Ear (stick) cost RM469 and it will be available for sale with limited units in Malaysia at Crossover from 28 October 2022.

National availability begins on 4 November 2022 through its flagship e-commerce stores on Lazada and Shopee and electronic retailers such as SenHeng, Thunder Match, Urban Republic and DirectD.
