In case you don’t remember, this is not the first colour-changing smartphone released by vivo. Back in January 2022, they revealed their first colour-changing smartphone, the V23 series, and right now, the V25 series is also getting the same feature.
The V25 Pro is the latest and most powerful addition to the V25 series. It is equipped with an octa-core CPU, MediaTek Dimensity 1300, 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage (non-expendable), and 5G-capable. vivo said the phone has an improved cooling system dubbed the Bionic Cooling System.
The vivo V25 Pro has a big 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED curved display with a 120Hz refresh rate. To keep the phone running, it features a 66W FlashCharge capability and a 4,830mAh large battery. It can charge the large-capacity and high-density battery cell from 0% to 71% in 30 minutes.
On the back of the phone, there’s a triple-camera setup. A 64MP OIS f/1.89 main camera, an 8MP f/2.2 wide-angle camera and a 2MP f/2.4 macro camera. On the front, there’s a 32MP AF f/2.45 selfie camera.
What makes this phone special, is the colour-changing property on the back of the phone. The back of the phone has a special coating dubbed the Fluorite AG and when exposed to UV light, the rear panel display different colours at different angles. The Surfing Blue edition of vivo V25 Pro changes from light sky blue to deep ocean blue.
vivo also released new wireless earbuds, the vivo TWS Air. The TWS Air is vivo’s lightest true wireless earbuds, with each earbud weighing just 3.5 grams. It features a 14.2mm driver, the largest speaker driver for vivo’s earbuds to date.
The vivo TWS Air also offers noise cancellation with its two microphones and the AI Noise Cancellation Algorithm. The TWS Air is also power efficient, offering 4.5 hours of music playback on a single charge.
Pricing and Availability
The vivo V25 Pro comes in Surfing Blue and Starlight Black and now available at RM2,499. Meanwhile the vivo TWS Air is available at RM179 and you can get it in two colours, White Bubble and Pebble Blue.
