ATLAS Vending recently launched a non-fungible token (NFT) vending machine in Malaysia to commemorate Malaysia Day.

13 branded vending machines were placed at REXKL, each representing a Malaysian state and an artist from that state. They will be there from 16 September to 16 December.

Each machine contains 300 NFTs at RM59 each (an arbitrary price picked in for the 59th Anniversary of Malaysia Day). Which NFT buyers get is up to chance.

Those who buy might also get one of 59 prizes which consist of 13 Nintendo Switch and 46 small ticket prizes. winners will be announced on 9 December.

According to ATLAS, sales generated by these NFTs will be shared among all artists involved in this project.

Under the same banner of supporting locals, ATLAS Vending also launched the Sapot SME campaign last year to help SMEs in the country recover.
