Anyone who likes reading would understand how hard it is to carry the books that you would like to read while you are travelling. It takes up too much space, and you might even damage the books by keeping them in your bags. The Kindle is a great piece of gadgetry for bookworms, and now Amazon has released a better one for those who are interested in taking up reading.

The new Kindle 2022 is an entry-level eBooks reader that sports a new design, a clearer 6-inch front-lit E-ink display, now at 300ppi, and a convenient USB-C port for charging. Many of the features found on the more costly Paperwhite model are included in the Kindle 2022.

Amazon has increased the internal capacity from 8GB to 16GB, and the battery life is estimated to last up to 6 weeks if you do 30 minutes of reading each day with wireless connectivity turned off. The Kindle 2022 is made of 90% recycled magnesium and 30–75% recycled plastic.

You can get the Kindle 2022 in two colours: Black and Denim Blue, and they retail for USD99.99 (RM452.65) for the lockscreen ad-supported version and USD119.99 (RM543.20) for the ad-free version.

The official sales start on 12 October, but you can preorder it right now. Amazon doesn’t ship this model directly to Malaysia, but we are certain you can just Google it and find some local sellers who can help you to get one.
