Setel recently announced the availability of its “One-Tap Fuelling” feature. With it, users can pay for the fuel at all Petronas stations nationwide while earning Mesra points using the app.
The feature is now available to the first 1,000 registered Setel users across the country, with a staggered rollout in the next two months.
But There’s A Catch
The name “One-Tap Fueling” is a misnomer. It is not as easy or simple as using a contactless payment option at the pump. The process has four steps and requires an internet connection.
It is similar to the McDonald’s App for ordering food at the table.
Getting the feature early is not free either. To be one of the first 1,000 users, you have to promote the feature and the company on your social media account.
First, you’ll have to post an Instagram Story or Tweet your Dah Setel So Far page with the caption: “I want One-Tap Fuelling now”, tag @setel and include the #SetelOneTapFuelling hashtag.
Then, from now to 4 October 2022, those who got the feature and promote the service the best will stand a chance to win limited edition Setel gift boxes. Just upload the most creative video on Instagram or Twitter showing the experience of using the “One-Tap Fuelling” feature, tag @setel and include the #SetelOneTapFuelling hashtag to get it.
