If you ask someone who is a PC gamer what gaming mice they are using, they would most probably tell you it is a Logitech mice. When it comes to gaming peripherals, Logitech is no doubt the first company that comes to mind for many people. The G502 series is one of the most popular gaming mice on the market and now Logitech is taking it to the next level.
The G502 X is the next evolution of the G502 gaming mice and it comes in one wired and two wireless versions. The wired version is the lightest of them all, weighing just 89 grams compared to the 106 grams of the wireless version.
The wired version is G502 X, the wireless versions are G502 X Lightspeed and G502 X Plus.
It also employed an enhanced version of its proprietary Lightspeed wireless protocol to make sure that its wireless versions had a reaction rate that was 68% faster than the previous generation’s.
All three versions use Lightforce hybrid optical-mechanical switch technology. According to Logitech, this new switch blends the mechanical switch’s crisp tactile clicks with optical switches’ incredibly low latency and quick performance. The G502 X also employs Logitech’s Hero 25K gaming sensor, the company’s most sophisticated mouse sensor.
Additionally, they have a detachable DPI shift button that you may use to configure the mouse to move at a faster or slower pace. To make the button more accessible to your thumb, you may either turn it around or, if you aren’t using it, entirely replace it with the blank cover that comes with the mice.
The G502 X Plus has an 8-LED RGB array that users can customise through Logitech G HUB software. When a user is using the mice, active play detection automatically turns lighting off when the user’s hand covers it, to conserve battery power.
