It wasn’t made by Sony, but it is close enough if you are a PlayStation (PS) fan. Backbone One-PlayStation Edition is the closest thing you get to something that looks like the PS5 controller but for your iPhone.
This mobile controller is manufactured by a company known as Backbone, and they said the controller was inspired by DualSense, the PS5 wireless controller. Backbone is powered by iPhone, just plug and play.
You can use the controller for PS Remote Play, the cloud streaming service for PS4 and PS5 games that allow you to play on-the-go. If Remote Play is not your cup of tea, you can use it to play App Store and Apple Arcade games too or any other game streaming services.
You can download the Backbone App for a customized PlayStation experience. The software features several PlayStation integrations, including hundreds of game titles to play and bespoke glyphs that mimic the famous PlayStation shapes.
Backbone said they are releasing the controller in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Netherlands, and the United Kingdom at launch, with more countries to follow.
The controller cost USD99.99 (around RM444.90). Will it come to Malaysia? Only time will tell.
