It’s a new week which also means new workout options on Apple’s Fitness+. This week, they are introducing a new Rowing Collection called Train to Row a Fast 2000 Meters.
You begin by performing one of the Get in the Boat section’s 10-minute exercises every other day. Then work your way up to one of the Find Your Rhythm 20-minute workouts every other day. Once you’re prepared, strive to row 2000 metres in the Race Day session, pushing yourself to achieve your personal best.
Rowing is a low-impact and non-weight-bearing exercise that is one of the world’s best workouts for total-body training.
Trainers Bakari Williams, Anja Garcia, and rowing world champion Josh Crosby lead the rowing exercises in Fitness+.
Josh, is a third-generation rower who competed for the United States National Rowing Team. He also competed in the Ironman World Championship and was a professional ultra-endurance athlete.
If rowing is not your thing, or you don’t have a rowing machine at home, there are other curated series of workouts and meditations from the Fitness+ library you can choose from.
The selection of Collections includes 30-Day Core Challenge, Improve Your Posture with Pilates, Perfect Your Yoga Balance Poses, Run Your First 5K, Strengthen and Stretch Your Back and Hips, and Wind Down for a Better Bedtime.
