The star of the show is the latest premium mid-tier smartphones, OPPO Reno8 5G and Reno8 Pro 5G. The Reno8 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1300 5G-integrated SoC and comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM. Meanwhile, the Reno8 Pro 5G is running on MediaTek Dimensity 8100-MAX integrated 5G SoC with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of ROM.

The Reno8 5G comes with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with 90.8% screen-to-body ratio and 90Hz refresh rate. The more powerful sibling has a 6.7″ AMOLED display with a 93.4% screen-to-body ratio, supporting 1 billion colours, and 120Hz refresh rate. The Reno8 Pro 5G display is also HDR10+, SGS Low Motion Blur and SGS Low Blue Light certified as well as HD & HDR certified for Amazon and Netflix.

For photography, the Reno8 Pro 5G has a special imaging NPU, self-developed by OPPO and they called it ‘MariSiliconX’, designed to be a dedicated image processing chip. The upgraded Dual Sony Flagship Sensors — the IMX709 for the front camera and the IMX766 for the rear camera — are present in both the Reno8 Pro 5G and the Reno8 5G.

The Sony IMX709 is an upgraded RGBW 32MP camera sensor that was specially made by OPPO. Compared to conventional RGGB sensors, it ensures a 60% increase in light intake and a 35% improvement in noise reduction. Additionally, the front camera on the Reno8 Pro 5G now features AutoFocus, enabling 2x zoom when capturing selfies, thanks to the IMX709 chip.

The SONY IMX766 sensor, with its big 1/1.56-inch sensor size and capabilities like All Pixel Omni-Directional PDAF and DOL-HDR, delivers a better portrait experience.

To keep the phones running for a long time, both smartphones feature 4500mAh with support for 80W SUPERVOOC charging that can achieve 50% in only 11 minutes, and a 5-minute charge is enough to give 2 hours of mobile gaming. The battery has gone through TÜV Rheinland’s Safe Fast-Charge System Certification as well.

Additionally, to improve heat dissipation significantly, Reno8 Pro 5G and Reno8 5G come with an advanced cooling system to ensure that the phones can always run smoothly within a comfortable temperature range.

Both phones are running ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12 out of the box. The Reno8 5G is available in Shimmer Gold and Shimmer Black colour while the Reno8 Pro 5G comes in Glazed Green and Glazed Black.

Besides the smartphones, OPPO also unveiled their latest affordable tablet offering, OPPO Pad Air. The tablet is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680, with a 10.36-inch 2K (2000×1200) LCD eye care display that has passed TÜV Rheinland’s certification for low blue light eye protection.

The tablet supports up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of ROM. It has a microSD card slot for expandable storage.

The tablet has four super large speakers that support Dolby Atmos, providing high-quality, layered sound with clarity and an immersive listening experience.

To keep the tablet’s screen on, it has a large 7,100 mAh battery with 18W Fast Charge that allows you to watch videos for up to 12 hours, attend video conferences for 15 hours, or read e-books for 16 hours and it can easily last you a whole day.

The OPPO Pad Air is running on ColorOS 12.1 and only comes in one color, Fog Grey.

For the audio lovers out there, OPPO has something special for you as well. The Enco Air2 Pro has a 12.4 mm titanized diaphragm driver, wide sound fields, potent bass, crystal-clear vocals, and active noise cancellation (ANC).

Additionally, the earbuds have a dual-mic + AI noise reduction technology configuration that will allow users to make crystal-clear phone calls. The Enco Air2 Pro also offers Transparency Mode, allowing users to continue hearing their surroundings and remaining aware without removing their earbuds.

Also, the unique case design makes it considerably simpler to remove the earbuds by allowing 77% of them to be seen rather than the usual 50% and it has IP54 dust and water resistance rating, so you don’t worry about using it when exercising.

Without its charging case, the OPPO Enco Air2 Pro has a 7-hour battery life and 28-hour playback time with the charging case (with ANC off at 50% volume). Additionally, it supports OPPO Flash Charging, which requires just 10 minutes to fully charge for 2 hours of playback time.

The earbuds support binaural Bluetooth 5.2 low-latency with support for AAC/SBC codec and automatically enter low latency mode when users are gaming. This feature can provide users with end-to-end latency as low as 94 ms, effectively minimizing the chances of unsynchronized audiovisuals and lost connectivity. You can control the earbuds via smart touch controls without taking out your phone.

The OPPO Enco Air2 Pro is available in two colours, grey and white.
