The MicroSD card is designed for use in demanding applications that require endurance and reliability such as surveillance cameras, dashboard cameras, doorbell cameras, body cameras and more.
The PRO Endurance card is built with Samsung’s enterprise-grade NAND flash and is said to be able to deliver up to 16 years (140,160 hours) of continuous recording time.
This means a single PRO Endurance card can last as long as up to 33 typical speed-focused cards in always-on video monitoring applications.
Samsung’s new memory card is rated to have a read speed of 100MB/s and a write speed of 40MB/s. It is rated Class 10 with video speed ratings of up to U3 (UHS Speed Class 3) and V30 (Video Speed Class 30).
That means it can handle large files like high-resolution recording and playback in Full HD and 4K.
The Samsung PRO Endurance MicroSD card is also built to be durable. It has Samsung’s reinforced six-proof durability. It has protection against water, magnets, X-rays, and extreme temperatures in addition to being the card are now wear out-proof and drop-proof.
It is available in four different storage capacities: 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB.
