ASUS Malaysia today launched the 2022 ASUS TUF Dash F15 Gaming laptop with Windows 11 and 12th gen Intel.
Despite the updated and upgraded hardware and design, the 2022 ASUS TUF Dash F15 Gaming laptop still manages to stay true to its vision of being an uncompromising thin gaming laptop by keeping the thickness of the chassis under 20 mm.
Also known by the model number, FX517, the gaming laptop is built tough and in compliance with the MIL-STD-810H standard. That means it has been put through, drop and vibration
tests, and high temperature and high humidity environments.
The FX517 also has an aluminium lid, slim bezels and a 26% bigger trackpad.
What’s Inside
In addition to the 12th Generation Intel Core i7-12650H processor the FX517 can be fitted with (up to) an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Laptop GPU with a MUX Switch, DDR5 memory running at 4800MHz, and dual PCIe 4.0 capable SSD.
The variant that is sold in Malaysia will pack an FHD 144Hz display panel with a 3ms response time and adaptive sync support.
All ASUS TUF Dash F15 variants are equipped with 76Whr and support USB Type-C Power Delivery up to 100W.
Now With A Webcam
The new 2022 ASUS TUF Dash F15 Gaming laptop is now equipped with a 720P HD camera, Dolby Atmos, and Hi-Res Audio support with a 2D Mic Array and CPU-bound AI Noise Cancellation.
For ports, there are 2 Type-C USB ports (1x Thunderbolt 4 and 1x USB 3.2
Gen2).
Of course, it also supports WiFi 6.
