Garmin Malaysia today officially launched the Garmin vívosmart 5, a smart fitness tracker with advanced sleep stacking features.

It can analyse the quantity and quality of sleep and give it a score based on users’ stress levels, movements, and time spent in sleep stages.

It could also connect the fitness band to the GPS on a smartphone to track distance, pace and speed during outdoor walks, runs, and bike rides.

The Garmin vívosmart 5 can take a sample heart rate multiple times per second and 24-hours a day. The fitness band will then alert users of abnormally high and low heart rates.

As a smart wearable, it coils display text messages, calendar notifications, social media alerts, news alerts, and more. It also plays well with both iPhones and Android devices.

The vívosmart 5 is waterproof for swimming and showers, has a seven-day battery life, and comes in three colours: Mint Green, Morning White and Midnight Black.

It is available now for RM 730.00 on Lazada, Shopee, AECO e-store, Garmin Brand stores and at all authorised retailers.
