The official trailer for the Apple TV+ natural history event series, “Prehistoric Planet” narrated by Sir David Attenborough and by acclaimed executive producers Jon Favreau, Mike Gunton and BBC Studios Natural History Unit (“Planet Earth”) is out now.

The series is set to debut globally on Apple TV+ from Monday, 23 May through Friday, 27 May.

“Prehistoric Planet” includes the latest developments in scientific discovery from expert palaeontologists. The new trailer hints at some of the latest discoveries that we didn’t know before.

According to new findings the Tyrannosaurus rex species could swim, and the Velociraptor is fully feathered and is about the size of an adult turkey. We still don’t know if they are just as delicious though.

The trailer also shows two new species of Tyrannosaur, the Qianzhousaurus aka Pinocchio rex, and the Nanuqsaurus that lives in the polar North.
