Republic of Gamers (ROG) Malaysia today announced the Flow Z13 gaming PC tablet for the local market.
It weighs 1.1kg and is 12mm thick, but according to ROG, it packs the experience of a gaming PC.
But, for that extra graphical power, the Flow Z13 is compatible with the XG Mobile external GPU and port hub.
What Makes It A Gaming Tablet?
For starters, ROG managed to fit up to a 12th gen Intel Core i9-12900H processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti laptop GPU into it.
Then it added up to 16GB of 5200MHz LPDDR5 RAM and up to a 1TB PCIe SSD for storage.
Touted as the world’s fastest gaming tablet, the Z13 uses a vapour chamber and liquid metal thermal compound with quiet cooling fans as a cooling solution.
Play It Your Way
Since it is a gaming tablet PC, the Flow Z13 is compatible with almost all PC accessories and Bluetooth gaming controllers.
It even has a cover with a built-in keyboard that turns it into a laptop.
The Z13 also has a 13in touch screen that could also be used for games and two USB Type-C for accessories, external monitor and charging.
About That GX Mobile
Introduced in 2021 as a hub for the ROG Flow series in 2021. It functions as an external graphics card and breakout ports for the line of tablet PCs.
It connects to the ROD Flow series devices using a proprietary cable.
A GX Mobile can provide up to a GeForce RTX 3080, dedicated DisplayPort and HDMI outputs, multiple USB ports, and an ethernet port to the device that is plugged into it.
Price, Availability & Specifications
The ROG Flow Z13 is available in Malaysia starting today (23 Mar) At official ROG Malaysia online stores and dealers. But, the version with the bundled ROG XG Mobile will be available in April.
