CelcomDigi Berhad (“CelcomDigi”), through its Innovation Centre, has unveiled a suite of homegrown AI-powered solutions designed to boost operational efficiency, enhance customer experiences, and redefine smarter ways of working.

Developed entirely by CelcomDigi’s own digital talent and already implemented internally, the solutions are now being prepared for AI-as-a-Service (AIaaS) deployment, enabling small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to adopt AI quickly and cost-effectively.

First revealed at the ASEAN AI Summit 2025, the in-house AI-powered solutions include:

  • AI as the engine of productivity: An AI-powered digital assistant automates routine tasks, supports employees with relevant information, and streamlines workflows to free up time for higher-value work.
  • AI as the enabler of efficiency at work: AI Business Case Assistant automates data-driven proposals complete with ROI analysis, projections, and modelling, while Instant Scope of Work Assistant instantly generates structured Scope of Work for contracts, providing intelligent insights in minutes.
  • AI as the catalyst for service excellence: An AI-enabled tool accurately addresses customer queries, shortens handling time, and improves satisfaction through intelligent automation in contact centre operations.
  • AI as the backbone for smarter collaboration: CelcomDigi’s AI Mirror prototype enhances employee engagement, personalises interactions, and builds workplace culture at scale while maintaining the human touch and fostering innovation across teams.

CelcomDigi’s Chief Innovation Officer, T. Kugan, said, “These solutions reflect the practical problem-solving our teams are achieving with AI. Built entirely in-house, we are seeing improvements in delivering operational efficiencies for us. While we continue refining them internally and integrating AI first into every layer of our operations and connected experiences, we are now exploring how some can be adapted into accessible AIaaS offerings, particularly for SMEs, so they can tap into AI without heavy capital investment. It also demonstrates the depth of our digital talent, which is central to our ambition of evolving into a telco-tech company.”

CelcomDigi’s internal development of these AI solutions is part of its ongoing transformation to become an AI-driven organisation, fostering innovation through upskilling, cross-functional projects, and a culture of experimentation.

Also featured at the ASEAN AI Summit were other cutting-edge 5G-AI-powered solutions from CelcomDigi AI Experience Centre (AiX), including HoloMedicine® for mixed-reality surgical planning, telemedicine for rural specialist access, as well as Malaysia’s first 5G AI-integrated logistics automation.
