OPPO today launched the Reno12 Pro in Malaysia, introducing a smartphone designed to meet the needs of trend-savvy users seeking both performance and elegance. Priced at RM2,499, the Reno12 Pro features AI-powered camera enhancements, a durable 5,000mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC charging, and a sleek, curved glass body, merging style and substance effortlessly.
The Reno12 Pro brings flagship-level AI imaging features like AI Eraser 2.0 and AI Clear Face, previously seen in OPPO’s Find series, to the mid-premium segment. With its 50MP Sony IMX890 main sensor, 50MP telephoto portrait lens, and 50MP selfie camera, the device is built for creators and everyday users who want studio-quality results. The AI Studio feature also enables users to generate artistic portrait styles in just one tap.
Inside, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy SoC, co-developed with OPPO for better power efficiency. It also comes with 12GB RAM, 512GB storage, and supports up to 12GB RAM Expansion.
Despite its high-capacity battery, the Reno12 Pro maintains a slim profile of just 7.40mm, with a weight of 180g. It is also the first in the Reno series to use Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2, offering enhanced drop and scratch resistance, and is rated IP65 dust and water-resistant.
Available in two colours – Sunset Gold and Space Brown – the phone runs ColorOS 14.1, offering customisable UI features and built-in AI tools like AI Toolbox, AI Recording Summary, and AI LinkBoost for seamless connectivity.
The Reno12 Pro will be available for purchase from 3 June 2025 via OPPO Brand Stores, its official website, telco partners, and major e-commerce platforms.
