Acer Malaysia today announced significant performance and feature updates for its flagship Predator Helios 18 AI gaming laptop, alongside the all-new Predator Helios Neo 16S AI, now housed in a sleek, slimmer chassis. The company also expanded its performance lineup to include the versatile Acer Aspire 7.
The Predator Helios 18 AI and Predator Helios Neo 16S AI are powered by Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs, delivering next-level gaming and AI-driven performance. With NVIDIA DLSS 4 technology, gamers can enjoy enhanced frame rates and sharper visuals, while creators benefit from accelerated video editing, 3D rendering, and design workflows through NVIDIA Studio.
The PredatorSense app offers real-time system optimisation and includes an Experience Zone with a suite of AI-powered features such as Acer PurifiedView and PurifiedVoice 2.0, enhancing streaming and communication with sharper video and noise-filtered audio.
The Predator Helios 18 AI (PH18-73) delivers desktop-level performance in a portable form factor, tailored for hardcore gamers and tech enthusiasts seeking cutting-edge capabilities. Pre-installed with 96GB DDR5 RAM and 4TB SSD storage, it supports upgrades of up to 192GB DDR5 RAM (4 slots) and 6TB NVMe SSD storage (3 slots).
Designed for visual immersion, it features an 18-inch WQXGA 2K Mini LED IPS display with a 250Hz refresh rate, powered by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 GPU. The slim-bezel panel offers DCI-P3 100% colour accuracy and peaks at 1000 nits in HDR mode, ideal for gamers and creators alike.
Cooling is handled by 6th Gen AeroBlade 3D technology, with 100 of the world’s thinnest 0.05mm metal blades that dynamically adapt in real-time for optimal airflow. The all-new Predator Helios Neo 16S AI (PHN16S-71) brings powerful performance in a super-slim form, striking a balance between power, precision, and style. Just 12mm at its thinnest point, it caters to gamers and creators looking for mobility without compromising performance.
Equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti GPU, it includes 32GB DDR5 RAM and 1TB Gen4 PCIe NVMe SSD, with additional upgrade slots for storage and memory.

Built for casual gamers and productivity seekers, the Acer Aspire 7 is powered by an Intel Core i5-12450H processor paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPU (6GB GDDR6) for fluid performance in work and play.
It comes with 16GB DDR4 RAM and a 512GB Gen4 PCIe NVMe SSD, with upgrade options up to 64GB RAM and more storage capacity. The 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display with 144Hz refresh rate offers smooth visuals for light gaming, multimedia, and everyday use.
The Aspire 7 will be available from 9 May 2025 at authorised resellers nationwide, Acer eStore, and Acer’s official Shopee and Lazada stores for RM3,299 (approx. USD690). It includes a 2-year warranty, with 1st-year International Traveller Warranty.
