The Predator League 2025 Malaysia Qualifier Finals showered the strongest esports teams – Team Myth Avenue Gaming (MAG) and Team Unsigned5 – with accolades in a sea of confetti as they claimed their right to represent Malaysia in the APAC Predator League 2025 in January 2025.

The qualifiers showcased intense battles among Malaysia’s top teams. In Dota 2, Team MAG dominated Team Odd Taxi in a breathtaking final, demonstrating exceptional strategy and skills for a 3-0 victory. Their strategy of distracting the opposition to allow their carry to farm paid off in the final. The legendary Team MAG showcased an invincible performance throughout the tournament, securing back-to-back wins with a 2-0 result in the semi-final and an unbroken streak in the final.

In the VALORANT showdown, Unsigned5 emerged victorious after a nail-biting contest against Team Todak. They came back from the lower bracket to deliver a thrilling performance filled with remarkable precision, strategy, and teamwork, to clinch the championship. Tied at 1-1 after two games, they went on to take the subsequent two games for a 3-1 finish in a final that lasted three hours.

In addition to lifting the Predator Shield, both champions, Team MAG and Unsigned5, were each rewarded with over RM20,000 worth of prizes comprising RM10,000 in cash and Predator merchandise worth over RM11,000.

The first runner-ups in Dota 2 and VALORANT, Odd Taxi and Team Todak, did not go home empty-handed. They each took home a share of the prize loot – RM12,000, including RM8,000 in cash.

Team MAG, Odd Taxi, and Unsigned5 have now earned the right to battle for another round of glory at the regional level in the APAC Predator League 2025 in January.

Malaysia’s esports representatives are no strangers to the international arena. Team MAG has proudly represented the nation in previous tournaments, and their participation this year promises to make the APAC Predator League 2025 an unmissable event.
