Huawei Has A New AMD Powered Laptop, The MateBook D15, With A Price Of RM2,499

Today, Huawei announced that its new HUAWEI MateBook D15 (R7 8+512GB) is now available for pre-order in Malaysia. Huawei said this new line of AMD-powered laptops is designed for young consumers who want a casual office and mobile productivity laptop.

The MateBook D15 is powered by AMD Ryzen 7 5700U, which is an 8-core, 16-thread processor, with integrated AMD Radeon graphics. It has 8GB of DDR4 RAM and 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD storage.

The display is a 15.6-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS LCD, with a max brightness of 250 nits, and a screen-to-body ratio of 87%. The panel has been certified by TÜV Rheinland for Low Blue Light and Flicker Free features.

Besides that, it has a 720p webcam, supports dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, has a fingerprint scanner on the power button, a headset and microphone 2-in-1 jack, one USB-C (for transfer data and charging), one HDMI port, one USB-A port (USB 3.2 Gen 1), and two USB-A ports (USB 2.0).

The laptop is running Windows 11 Home edition out of the box, it has a 56Wh battery, and comes with a 65W USB-C adapter.

Pricing and Availability

The MateBook D15 is priced at RM2,499 but customers who pre-order the laptop from 15 to 30 April 2023 can enjoy a special discount of RM100. Additionally they will also be getting goodies worth up to RM690.
