With the cost of living and tuition fees rising, opportunities for students to pursue higher education can feel further out of reach — but GXBank’s Impian Gigih Biasiswa is changing that.

Now in its second year, the scholarship continues to support bright, deserving Malaysian students who need financial help to chase their academic dreams. The latest batch welcomes ten new scholars from across the country, each with their own story of perseverance and hope.

Empowering Students Through Education

GXBank’s Deputy CEO and COO, Hildah Hamzah, said the initiative was built on a simple belief — that education changes lives.

“At GXBank, we see talent everywhere, but not everyone has the same access to education or support. The Impian Gigih Biasiswa gives students the resources and confidence to pursue their dreams,” she said.

The scholarship doesn’t just cover financial aid — recipients also receive mentorship, training, and guidance to help them build confidence and plan for long-term success.

Building Futures With Impian Gigih

The Impian Gigih programme is GXBank’s flagship initiative to promote social mobility through education and financial literacy. It’s made up of three main pillars:

  • Impian Gigih Dermasiswa – back-to-school support for younger children.
  • Impian Gigih Biasiswa – full financial aid, mentorship, and training for university students.
  • Impian Gigih Celik Kewangan – a financial literacy programme to help Malaysians make informed money decisions.

Through initiatives like these, GXBank is empowering young Malaysians to dream bigger, study smarter, and build better futures — one scholarship at a time.
