Grab is piloting a new service in Putrajaya called GrabShuttle Beta—a shared ride option with fares from RM3. It works like carpooling but comes with the usual Grab perks such as doorstep pickup and drop-off.

You’ll share the car with up to two other passengers, and it’s strictly one person per booking. Matching takes time, so expect to wait 15 to 30 minutes before your ride arrives.

Service runs Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm, skipping public holidays. Coverage includes Presint 1 to 5, 8, 9, 18, Masjid Putra, IOI City Mall, UITM, and links to Putrajaya Sentral.

It’s still in beta, so routes and timings are limited. But if you don’t mind sharing and can spare a little time, this could be a low-cost alternative to GrabCar.
