iQIYI, the prominent Chinese streaming service, is set to implement a price hike for its Malaysian audience. Effective from 21 March 2025, new subscribers will experience increased rates for both the Standard and Premium VIP plans.

Revised Subscription Rates:

Standard VIP Plan
Monthly Subscription: Previously RM11.90, now RM13.90
Three-Month Subscription: Previously RM31.90, now RM35.90

Premium VIP Plan
Monthly Subscription: Previously RM17.90, now RM20.90
Three-Month Subscription: Previously RM47.90, now RM53.90

Existing subscribers will continue to enjoy their current rates, with the new pricing structure applicable solely to new subscribers from the effective date.

This adjustment comes on the heels of iQIYI’s recent strategic initiatives, including the enhancement of its Diamond VIP membership benefits earlier this year.

Additionally, the company has been active in financial markets, completing a RM 1.65 billion ($350 million) convertible senior notes offering due in 2030, aimed at refinancing existing debt and supporting general corporate purposes.
