Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today inaugurated the first Sentuhan MADANI Kiosk at Alamanda shopping mall, introducing a groundbreaking initiative to streamline public access to government services. The kiosk brings together over 90 services from six agencies, including the Road Transport Department (JPJ), Pos Malaysia, the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM), Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), and MyDigital ID.
Anwar arrived at 2:45 PM to officiate the launch, accompanied by Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil, Federal Territories Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa, Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali, and Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar.
A Modern Solution for Public Services
The Sentuhan MADANI Kiosk, a key initiative under Budget 2025, seeks to modernise public service delivery. Placed in high-traffic areas like shopping centres, the kiosks are designed for extended operational hours and convenience.
Fahmi encouraged corporate partners to support the initiative by hosting kiosks in their premises. “I was informed that the costs are not too high. With cooperation from various parties, locations like shopping malls and other public areas are ideal for installation,” he told reporters.
The second Sentuhan MADANI Kiosk is slated for installation at KL Sentral in Kuala Lumpur and is expected to begin operations by the end of February.
