JuiceUP, the leading fully integrated end-to-end EV charging management cloud solution with contactless payment capabilities, has announced its commitment to transforming Malaysia’s EV charging experience with their seamless open payment solution system.

This innovation, a first-of-its-kind in the country, aims to revolutionise how EV users pay for charging services.

Leveraging its expertise as a local software-as-a-service (SaaS) and payments firm, JuiceUP is partnering with Visa to create an open payment system accommodating various payment methods.

This system is designed to enable EV users to pay for their charging sessions without the need for specific applications or subscription plans.

By allowing the use of physical cards for payment, JuiceUP simplifies the process of paying for public EV charging, making it as straightforward as paying for petrol or diesel.

Users can simply tap their card on the payment terminal, scan a QR code, and monitor their charging progress through a web application that provides real-time updates and access to charging information.

Beyond simplifying transactions for EV users, JuiceUP also offers solutions for charge point operators (CPOs) through a comprehensive management system.

This system aids operators in efficiently managing their charging networks by providing a centralised platform for monitoring all charge points.

It allows for flexible management of tariffs and pricing, performance monitoring of each charge point, and the detection and resolution of faults.

JuiceUP has announced that four CPOs—CUCUK, JusEV, TNB Electron, and EVPower—will adopt this innovative open payment system.
