Smart Malaysia has officially launched its latest electric vehicle (EV), the Smart #3 during its first ever Smart Tour brand roadshow at Pavilion Bukit Jalil.
The Smart #3 was premiered at the recent Malaysia Autoshow 2024, and it’s the latest addition to the Smart family, featuring a sleek coupe exterior and a sophisticated interior.
This EV is available in three different models: the top-of-the-line Brabus, mid-spec Premium, and base model Pro.
The Brabus variant features a dual-motor AWD setup that delivers 315kW (422hp) and 543Nm of torque, achieving 0-100km/h in 3.7 seconds. It includes a 66kWh battery with a WLTP-rated range of 415km on a single charge.
The mid-spec Premium model has a single motor driving the rear wheels, producing 200kW (268hp) and 343Nm of torque.
It accelerates from 0-100km/h in 5.8 seconds and also comes with a 66kWh battery, offering up to 455km of WLTP-rated range.
Both the Premium and Brabus versions support 22kW AC charging and DC charging up to 150kW.
The base Pro model uses the same motor as the Premium but has a smaller 49kWh LFP battery pack instead of an NMC unit.
This base unit provides a WLTP-rated range of 325km and supports slower single-phase 7kW AC charging along with 130kW DC charging.
