On Saturday (22 June) Apple officially launched its first store in Malaysia, located at The Exchange, TRX, Kuala Lumpur.

At the opening, early birds received a limited edition gift: a canvas tote bag. Once people got their hands on it, they started selling it online.

A quick check on Carousell, an online marketplace, reveals that Malaysians are selling the tote bag for as low as RM250 and all the way up to RM10,000!

The tote bag is crafted from white canvas cloth and features Apple Malaysia’s “JOM” theme printed vertically. The reverse side showcases the Apple logo alongside “Apple The Exchange TRX” in gold lettering.

Given that the tote bags were exclusive to early attendees, it’s unsurprising they’ve turned into coveted collectibles for Apple enthusiasts who couldn’t make it to the store’s inaugural day or secure one for themselves.

If you are unable to visit the store yourself, you can read this article and look at the photos we took of it.
