Upin & Ipin is a Malaysian animated series produced by Les’ Copaque Production. The show features the life and adventures of the five-year-old twin brothers in a fictional Malaysian village called Kampung Durian Runtuh.
Now the bald twins are finally getting their own game according to Haji Burhan Radzi, the managing director of Les’ Copaque Production.
In his Facebook post, he announced that they have commissioned Streamline Studios to develop the Upin & Ipin game. Burhan mentioned that the game is family-friendly, contains no violence, and is appropriate for all ages.
The brief footage suggests that the game will be a co-op adventure genre, allowing players to control Upin or Ipin as they embark on explorations through the village.
He mentioned that the entire Streamline team working on this project is located in Malaysia and has collaborated closely with Les’ Copaque Production. The game is anticipated to be finished by October 2024, and the launch is targeted for the first quarter of 2025 on PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

Burhan expressed hope that this game will highlight Malaysia in the global gaming scene and they are confident that this endeavour will succeed and become a point of national pride for Malaysia.
