Yoodo, a Malaysian mobile virtual network operator (MVNO), announced that it will discontinue its brand on 29 August.
According to a notice on Yoodo’s website, the telco stated that they will share more details on the transition by 17 June 2024.
The MVNO assures customers that there will be no interruptions to its services, and they will have the option to port out to “another operator of your choice.”
You will continue to enjoy existing services (Data, Voice and SMS) on the CelcomDigi network, and product and support channels from CelcomDigi without any interruptions until further notice.

Yoodo adds that bill payments will remain unchanged for now.
The MVNO explains that this move is part of a commitment made earlier to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) for the merger between Celcom and Digi.
In October 2023, reports indicated that Celcom, which originally owned Yoodo, would be required to divest from the digital telco within 18 months following the merger.
