In alignment with Malaysia’s MADANI Economy framework, Google partners with the Ministry of Higher Education to provide scholarships for AI-focused training programs, aiming to equip Malaysian youth with future-ready skills.
These initiatives, including the Gemilang program, aim to bridge the digital talent gap and support Malaysia’s growing digital economy, projected to reach significant milestones by 2025 and beyond.
Additionally, Google explores the possibility of establishing an in-country data centre to meet the increasing demand for AI services and other digital offerings in Malaysia.
