Sony has officially announced the release of the highly anticipated PlayStation exclusive game, Ghost of Tsushima, for PC. The Director’s Cut edition of the game is set to launch on 16 May 2024.
According to PlayStation Blog, Ghost of Tsushima, an open-world samurai adventure, will be available on PC bundled with its Iki Island expansion and the online cooperative mode, Legends.
The PC version incorporates advanced technologies such as Nvidia DLSS 3, AMD FSR 3, and Intel XeSS for upscaling and frame generation. Additionally, features like NVIDIA Reflex and image quality-enhancing NVIDIA DLAA are supported. Sony didn’t disclose specific system requirements at the time of writing.
Developed by Sucker Punch and ported by Nixxes, Ghost of Tsushima for PC offers extensive support for widescreen monitors, including Ultrawide (21:9), Super Ultrawide (32:9), and 48:9 for three monitors.
The game features an unlocked framerate and a range of graphics options tailored to accommodate various hardware, from high-end PCs to portable gaming devices. Mouse and keyboard support with fully customizable controls are also available.
Steam users who pre-purchase the game will receive additional perks, including a New Game Plus exclusive horse, Traveler’s Attire outfit, and Broken Armor dyes from Baku’s shop.

Moreover, the PC version will retain the extra features from the Director’s Cut release, such as haptic feedback and adaptive trigger support when using a DualSense controller.
In Ghost of Tsushima, players assume the role of Jin Sakai, a samurai forced into hiding during a Mongol invasion. The game presents players with the moral dilemma of choosing between adhering to the honourable way of the samurai or resorting to stealthy techniques to save the island of Tsushima and its people.
