It’s time to level up gamers, Asus’ Republic Of Gamers (ROG) smartphone line is back with three new devices—the ROG Phone 8, the ROG Phone 8 Pro and the ROG Phone 8 Pro Edition.

All three devices run on the Snapdragon 8 chip and all of them have the same dimensions, a triple camera setup that includes a 50MP main shooter, a 6.78-inch 165Hz Full HD display and a 5,500mAh battery that allows for both fast and wireless charging.

They also share all the nifty features such as a dedicated system to cool their chips, AI gaming features and IP68 dust and water resistance.

What differentiates the three are the price, storage, RAM, colour options and the customisable AniMe Vision Mini LED display at the back of the phone which is only available on the 8 Pro and 8 Pro Edition.

It comes in threes

The ROG Phone 8 is the baseline phone for this year’s lineup and it starts from RM3999. The phone comes with 256GB of storage and 12GB RAM. It is available in two colours: Phantom Black and Rebel Grey.

Next up is the middle of the pack, the ROG Phone 8 Pro which has 512GB of storage and 16GB of RAM. You can get your hands on it for RM4,799 and it’s only available in Phantom Black.

The cream of the crop is the ROG Phone 8 Pro Edition (not to be confused with the ROG Phone 8 Pro mentioned earlier), it comes with 1TB of storage and 24GB of RAM and if you want the top-of-the-line ROG phone that you can get now, this is it, but will cost you RM5,999.

It also comes bundled with the AeroActive Cooler X attachment (RM349) that can help keep your phone cool during those intense gaming sessions.

These phones are already available for purchase and you can head on over to your nearest Asus retailer, reseller, or online store if you want to get your hands on one.

Plus, if you get any version of the phone from 30 January to 20 February, you’ll get an extended warranty and other free goodies.
