The OnePlus 12 is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and here, it will be available in one configuration only: 16GB+512GB.

Equipped with a BOE X1 6.82-inch LTPO OLED display boasting a resolution of 1,440 x 3,168 px and a variable 1-120Hz refresh rate, the phone achieves an industry-leading peak brightness of 4,500 nits in auto mode and employs 2,160Hz PWM dimming.

The OnePlus 12’s triple camera setup comprises a LYT808 50MP main camera developed in collaboration with Sony, an OV64B 64MP 3X periscope telephoto camera, and an IMX581 48MP ultrawide camera. Additionally, a 32MP front camera is housed in a centrally located punch-hole display for selfies.

Powering the device is a substantial 5,400mAh dual-cell battery supporting 100W SUPERVOOC fast wired charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging. OnePlus introduces a new Dual Cryo-velocity Cooling System that enhances cooling surface area, cooling materials, and structural design, ensuring the phone remains cool during intense usage.

Connectivity features of the phone include dual SIM support, 5G capability, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GNSS, NFC, and USB 3.2 Gen 1. The device is equipped with additional features such as an alert slider, an IR blaster, an x-axis linear vibration motor, and dual stereo speakers.

On the software front, the phone runs on ColorOS 14, built on the foundation of Android 14. Additionally, it holds an IP65 rating, rated for water splashes.

The OnePlus 12R is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, featuring 16GB RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. Similar to the 12, it incorporates a dual VC (9,140mm2) chamber, which is 76% larger than the one found in the 11R.

Its display is a 6.78-inch LTPO4 AMOLED with a resolution of 1264x2780px, supporting a 120Hz maximum refresh rate. The brightness specifications match those of the 12, with a peak of 4,500 nits and a nominal brightness of 1,600 nits.

The standout feature of the OnePlus 12R lies in its impressive battery capacity, boasting a 5,500mAh pack, the largest ever fitted to a OnePlus phone.

Charging is facilitated by the 100W SUPERVOOC technology (without wireless charging), complemented by the SUPERVOOC S Charging Management Chip, ensuring up to 1,600 battery cycles—equivalent to more than four years of charging and discharging the battery.

In the camera department, the OnePlus 12R sports a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, it houses a 16MP front camera. Additionally, the device carries an IP64 rating, providing full dust protection and splash resistance.
