Mydin Set To Roll Out A Special App For Exclusive Partners This April

Mydin Mohamed Holdings Berhad (Mydin) is set to launch a dedicated mobile application for 23 of its exclusive partners, enabling them to access special discounts beginning in April.

Bernama reports that according to Managing Director Datuk Ameer Ali Mydin, the app will present information about promotions and product prices, aiding users in planning their expenditures during their shopping visits to Mydin outlets.

Ameer explained that the current process, relying solely on physical cards, complicates matters for consumers who remain unaware of the promoted items.

To address this, Mydin aims to develop a system similar to the Central Database System (PADU) for exclusive partners, streamlining access to information about items offered at promotional prices.

Among the exclusive partners are cardholders of the Malaysian Information Department Media Certificate. This media-centric initiative, launched on 23 September last year, seeks to provide accurate and comprehensive information to the community.

Ameer emphasised that on a weekly basis, Mydin will extend various promotions on different items to its media personnel and exclusive partners, alleviating the burden of daily expenses.
