Oppo just unveiled its new mid-range phones, the Reno11 and Reno11 Pro, in late November in China, and now the company is about to launch the phones here on our shores.
Oppo posted a teaser on its Facebook page today, announcing the soon-to-arrive Reno11 series in Malaysia. We are guessing that the phones will launch in January 2024.
Oppo Reno11
The Reno11 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The phone sports a 6.7-inch curved OLED display with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), 394 PPI, and a 120Hz refresh rate, including a centred punch-hole 10-bit HDR10+ panel supporting up to 2160Hz PWM dimming, a 950 nits local peak brightness level, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
The Reno11 is equipped with a triple camera setup on the rear, boasting an OIS 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a 32MP IMX709 2x telephoto shooter. For selfies and video calls, it features a 32MP Sony IMX709 sensor on the front.
To keep the phone running, there’s a 4,800mAh battery that supports 67W SuperVOOC wired charging.
Connectivity options on the smartphone include dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GNSS, NFC, and USB Type-C. It incorporates an in-screen fingerprint sensor for biometrics.
Running on ColorOS 14 based on Android 14, it’s one of the initial devices, alongside the Reno11 Pro, to come pre-installed with the latest version of Oppo’s mobile software.
Oppo Reno11 Pro
The Reno11 Pro gets a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, combined with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
It also has a better 6.74-inch curved OLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1240 pixels (1.5K), 450 PPI, 10-bit color depth, and a 120Hz refresh rate, the centrally positioned punch-hole screen supports HDR10+, 2160Hz PWM dimming, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a 1600 nits local peak brightness level.
The device houses a triple camera system on the back, comprising an OIS-assisted 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide unit, and a 32MP Sony IMX709 2x telephoto snapper. The selfie camera uses a 32MP sensor as well.
The Pro is backed by a 4,700mAh battery, the phone supports an 80W SuperVOOC charging standard and it also comes with ColorOS 14 as well.
The smartphone comes equipped with dual stereo speakers, an x-axis linear vibration motor, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, NFC, and USB Type-C.
